Cotton Incorporated
SYNOPSIS: Years of creative solutions that helped this vital and sustainable textile grow.
OVERVIEW:
Cotton Incorporated is the research and marketing entity representing U.S. upland cotton—a non-profit funded by domestic growers and importers through per-bale assessments overseen by the USDA. Their mission is straightforward: improve the demand for and profitability of cotton. Rather than manufacturing or selling products, Cotton Incorporated conducts supply chain research and develops promotions that champion the use and desirability of cotton across every market it touches.
TASK:
Trade advertising is central to Cotton Incorporated's B2B strategy, targeting companies across fashion, textile, apparel, home goods, nonwovens, and consumer goods. These industries—and their supply chains—rely on cotton for everything from clothing and baby care products to home insulation and food goods. As a natural, sustainable fiber, cotton is the smarter environmental choice across all of them. Gusto Design Co. was brought in to bring that message to life and expand the look of previous campaigns.
EXECUTION:
Gusto created advertisements, web banners, marketing materials, logos, and trade show graphics deployed across North America, Latin America, and Asia. The work positioned cotton and Cotton Incorporated as a cutting-edge and forward-thinking fiber.
Authentic. Natural. Timeless. Cotton has earned the trust of people and industries alike—a familiar, high-performing material firmly woven into everyday life. And because it comes from nature, it's uniquely positioned to help lead the way toward a more sustainable future. Enduringly durable and continually relevant, cotton is the natural fiber the world can rely on.
